Multiple paint depth readings are taken from each vehicle panel to assess the extent of correction possible and determine suitable pad and compound combinations. We also manage your expectations and what’s achievable with your vehicle’s paintwork.
We offer two standard types of machine polishing services, which are much more comprehensive than a simple “machine buff” or “mop.” Incorrectly performed, these can often lead to poor results.
PAINT ENHANCEMENT
An Enhancement Detail typically involves a single-stage machine polish. It aims to improve the paintwork’s finish, eliminate fine scratches, swirl marks, and other defects, achieving a correction rate of approximately 60-70%. This process usually takes around 1-2 days to complete.
PAINT CORRECTION
A Correction Detail takes this process to the next level. Often, it involves multiple stages of machine polishing and wet sanding to achieve a better result.
This can take several days to complete and can result in a correction rate of approximately 90-95%.
Included in these services are a thorough exterior deep clean and chemical and mechanical decontamination of the bodywork.
